Had Vinny, The Knife Guy, sharpen 4 kitchen knives, a pair of scissors and a lawn mower blade, and they were sharpened to perfection. I am very pleased on how they turned out. Vinny did an excellent job of sharpening 5 knives and a pair of poultry scissors. The customer service was exemplary. He has an organized and secure drop-off and pick-up system (if he by chance is not present) although makes every attempt to be present at a mutually agreeable time. Knives are returned quickly (he offered 24 hour turnaround) and are professionally wrapped with care instructions. I will definitely return in the future and highly recommend his services.

I found out about the knife Guy through a postcard I picked up at William-Sonoma at the Summit in South Reno. I texted him and asked about sharpening some knives for me. It was easy I just needed to drop them off at his place, he then texted the next day to tell me they were ready. My knives were in pretty bad shape and they came back so sharp! I did not realize who dull they had gotten. I would recommend Vinny to anyone needing their knives (and scissors too) sharpened. He was fast, courteous and easy to do business with.

I have used Vinny for a couple years now. I am a professional Executive Chef and have some pretty expensive knives. Vinny takes extreme care in his work and understands how to sharpen all knives and blades Sharpening Japanese knives can be a real challenge, but when I get them back they are like brand new. I have used a lot of different knife sharpeners over my 35 years of kitchen experience and by far Vinny is the best. 5 stars all the way from customer service to the quality of work done.
