Vinny is amazing. He was quick and precise with the sharpening. And all I can say is dang it’s sharp and I will let everyone know he is the guy to call for all their sharpening needs.

Excellent job of sharpening my outdoor hunting/fishing knife. It was also at a very reasonable price. I saw him at the Sportsman’s convention in Reno and dropped my knife off to be sharpened. Very quick…maybe 10 minutes. I will definitely have him sharpen other knives.

The Knife Guy was at the Reno Sportsman's Expo this past weekend. I have been on the lookout for a knife sharpening service. I asked if they were doing any sharpening on site and they were. I immediately gave them a fixed blade knife that was due and they touched it up while I was walking around with my kids. Vinny did an excellent job and I'll be brining more knives to him in the future.

Had an incredible experience! The owner Vincent is extremely polite and professional. All responses to my inquires were almost immediate, and he was on top of communication. I was reassured that I could drop my two knives off for sharpening at any tine (I work nights so my schedule already sucks) however Vincent went out of his way to work around that time constraint. I had two knives sharpened. I dropped them off around 6 am, and they were done less than an hour later. When I received them back, the quality and obvious pride that went into this work was immediately noticeable. It’s the little details that shine the brightest. The edges and bevels were perfectly even and polished, the tip on my Benchmade was back to its former glory, and these knives came back sharper than when I originally got them. I am not exaggerating when I say they are razor sharp - I can shave my arm hair with them.

Something like knife maintenance may not seem very significant to most people, but as a working man/woman, the quality of a properly maintained knife with a quality edge cannot be ignored.

Again, its the little details, and Vincent delivered quality results. You got yourself a repeat customer sir!

Our knives are now sharper than new! We had a 20yr old kitchen knife set that was very dull so we were thinking about replacing them, but decided to try and get them sharpened as a last resort. The Knife Guy sharpened all of them with a very quick turnaround time. They are now sharper than they ever have been, even when they were new. I cannot recommend The Knife Guy enough! Had Vinny, The Knife Guy, sharpen 4 kitchen knives, a pair of scissors and a lawn mower blade, and they were sharpened to perfection. I am very pleased on how they turned out. Vinny did an excellent job of sharpening 5 knives and a pair of poultry scissors. The customer service was exemplary. He has an organized and secure drop-off and pick-up system (if he by chance is not present) although makes every attempt to be present at a mutually agreeable time. Knives are returned quickly (he offered 24 hour turnaround) and are professionally wrapped with care instructions. I will definitely return in the future and highly recommend his services.

Vinny is very quick to respond and communicative. My knives are back to their former crazy-sharp glory (maybe even sharper!) and look perfect. He put each one in a cardboard sheath and wrapped up really nicely for safe transport home. What a great service! Will definitely be seeing Vinny for sharpening from now on.

I took three of my knives to be sharpened and one of them was in bad shape. All three of them came back razor sharp and in the same day. I couldn't be happier. Great customer service and extremely sharp knives. What more could you want? I'll definitely be coming back. Thanks again!

Update: I used Vinny again, and like always, all of my knives came back extremely sharp. He was able to fix the tip of my fixed blade and get a razor sharp edge on my niece’s edc. Thank you!

I would give 10 stars if I could! Vinny is awesome and fast. Sharpened knives turned around same morning and they are SUPER sharp! Definitely highly recommend! Prices totally reasonable too!

Working with Vinny was a refreshing change from most. He answered my email promptly and made arrangements to get my scissors and knives to him. He sharpened them to almost their original sharpness!!! Yay and the scissors were 35 years old. Highly recommend him. A plus, he wrapped them wonderfully when I went to pick them up.
