Vinny the Knife Guy is fantastic!! I reached out to him when we knew we’d be making a shopping trip in Reno, coming up from Mammoth. Even with a narrow window and tight turnaround, Vinny was able to accommodate our request. We brought about six very dull knives and he brought our beloved Japanese blades back to life. He also took care of a serious chip that had us thinking our knife was a goner. Vinny is super knowledgeable and very professional. His enthusiasm for knives really comes through on his instagram page which is also worth checking out. His prices are very reasonable considering the quality work and quick turnaround plus he packages them up so nicely when he’s finished.
