Had Vinny, The Knife Guy, sharpen 4 kitchen knives, a pair of scissors and a lawn mower blade, and they were sharpened to perfection. I am very pleased on how they turned out. Vinny is very quick to respond and communicative. My knives are back to their former crazy-sharp glory (maybe even sharper!) and look perfect. He put each one in a cardboard sheath and wrapped up really nicely for safe transport home. What a great service! Will definitely be seeing Vinny for sharpening from now on.

Update: I used Vinny again, and like always, all of my knives came back extremely sharp. He was able to fix the tip of my fixed blade and get a razor sharp edge on my niece’s edc. Thank you!

I would give 10 stars if I could! Vinny is awesome and fast. Sharpened knives turned around same morning and they are SUPER sharp! Definitely highly recommend! Prices totally reasonable too!
Working with Vinny was a refreshing change from most. He answered my email promptly and made arrangements to get my scissors and knives to him. He sharpened them to almost their original sharpness!!! Yay and the scissors were 35 years old. Highly recommend him. A plus, he wrapped them wonderfully when I went to pick them up.

I came across The Knife Guy (Vinny’s) business through Facebook. The contact, communication was perfect. Texts and a call and a plan was formed. I dropped 5 knives off and then played a round of disc golf at the wedge since it was close. When the knives were done, got a text and picked them up. I brought Vinny a WW1 1917 bolo knife with a unique edge and 4 other knives. The sharpness is fantastic! Highly recommend. This is a very professional business delivering high end services.

I found out about the knife Guy through a postcard I picked up at William-Sonoma at the Summit in South Reno. I texted him and asked about sharpening some knives for me. It was easy I just needed to drop them off at his place, he then texted the next day to tell me they were ready. My knives were in pretty bad shape and they came back so sharp! I did not realize who dull they had gotten. I would recommend Vinny to anyone needing their knives (and scissors too) sharpened. He was fast, courteous and easy to do business with.

I have used Vinny for a couple years now. I am a professional Executive Chef and have some pretty expensive knives. Vinny takes extreme care in his work and understands how to sharpen all knives and blades Sharpening Japanese knives can be a real challenge, but when I get them back they are like brand new. I have used a lot of different knife sharpeners over my 35 years of kitchen experience and by far Vinny is the best. 5 stars all the way from customer service to the quality of work done.
Won’t be going anywhere else for knife sharpening! Vinny was quick to respond, had convenient availability and great customer service. The knives we had sharpened came back sharper than when we bought them originally. 10/10 recommend!!
