The knife guy is amazing! I dropped off six knives for him to sharpen and he had them done rather quickly for me. His quality of work, attention to detail and added little touches such as oiling the wood handle, providing sleeves for the knives and even a bandaid for extra precaution. My knives came back professionally sharp. I'll certainly be using him again. Can't recommend enough.

Five stars isn't enough for Vinny.

I booked online and he called me 10 minutes later. I dropped off my knives the next day. Two hours later, he was done. He sharpened 6 Japanese knives, a cleaver and 2 pairs of scissors.

I run events for a living. I know good service when I see it. Vinny is fast, convenient and professional, and the results beat my expectations. My knives haven't cut like this in years.

He also told me he'll check in over the next few days to make sure I'm happy. Hardly anyone does that anymore.

And his branding is fantastic. You can tell he takes pride in what he does.

If you're in Reno, drop your knives off with Vinny. If you're anywhere else in the US, mail them in. Either way, you'll be glad you did. I'll be back!

I have been struggling for a year trying to sharpen my knives every time I need to use them. I looked online and thought well I’m gonna buy new ones well shucks the new ones that are any good or very very very expensive so I googled who sharpened knives in the Reno area and I think three or four names came up and the knife guy who I ended up using had excellent excellent reviews and I can understand why he did an excellent job. He was very knowledgeable and a real nice guy and I recommend him highly you will not be disappointed
