The knife guy was awesome. He was professional, and courteous. I work at a salon and I did look at some reviews and it did seem like he has only done kitchen, scissors and knives of course as the name implies . However, he asked me if I did more slide cutting or push cutting. Which no one has ever asked me before when they have taken my scissors to sharpen. When I when I got some back they cut like butter. I couldn't have been happier. So I highly recommend to anyone that is in a salon to give this guy a try.

The Knife Guy is the best kept secret in Reno. It is so nice to have someone to trust with really nice knives. Drop-off and pick-up was a breeze; knives were ready later that same day and finished product is fantastic.

Getting Vinny to sharpen my knives was the BEST- easy to schedule, easy to drop off and pick up, super super fast, got my knives back all nicely wrapped and super sharp- better than new!!! He was also easy to communicate with… I have a set of fancy Shun Knives, and I trust him with them.

We’ve had our knives sharpened by Vinnie several times over the past several years, always with exceptional results. My son now brings his knives when he visits so we can have Vinnie sharpen them. Wow! I realized how much I’ve been using dull knives for years. My knives are so sharp, it’s scary! The Knife Guy did a superb job sharpening my five knives. Totally worth every dollar (cheap if you ask me). His knife sharpening set-up is pretty amazing and totally impressive! Highly recommend!!
